The history behind Throw no more.

Published on December 07, 2019

Throw no more is an idea conceived by a group of Norwegians who wanted to reduce food waste. It started off as a simple app that conveniences stores could use to prevent hot-dogs from being wasted. The app was very successful in mitigating hot-dog loss. We are saying this with a straight face.

Since then, the idea of preventing foodwaste was expanded into a grander scale, to be used as a tool for retailers and grocery stores to reduce their food waste by offering product that is nearing the end of its shelf-life an opportunity to be sold at a fraction of the retail price.

To this day, the app is in the final stages of development, and has garnered major interest in Europe. Throw no more will be launching in Canada as well, paving the way for major food-waste prevention.

Are you someone who wants to save money while reducing foodwaste?
